Mr. Justice Wright graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (B.A. and LL.B.) in 1955. He articled with the law firm of Milliken & Milliken of Regina and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1956. Mr. Justice Wright joined the firm of MacDermid & Co. in 1956, progressing to senior partner in 1960. Justice Wright is a Past Provincial President of the Canadian Bar Association and Past Vice-chairman of the Law Foundation of Saskatchewan and regular lecturer at the Bar Admission Course. Mr. Justice Wright was appointed a Justice of the Court of Queen's Bench of Saskatchewan since 1981. In 1992, Justice Wright took education leave and taught as a regular faculty member at the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan (Civil Procedure, Ethics).
