Mr. Justice David H. Wright, Commissioner of The Commission of Inquiry Into Matters Relating to the Death of Neil Stonechild, today announced that the Commission will begin hearing evidence on September 8, 2003. Hearings are expected to run until October 23, 2003.

The Commission will sit from approximately 10:00 am until 4:30 pm daily, Monday to Thursday, for the weeks of September 8, 15, and 22, and October 6, 13, and 20. Please note, the Commission will not sit on Monday, October 13 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Instead, the Commission will sit an extra day on Friday, October 10.
